Parking is located directly behind The Tavern Restaurant in the McAlister Street Parking deck and on College Avenue in the front of The Tavern.

Parking for the Tavern

There are more than 1,600 safe and convenient parking spaces (including 425 metered on-street space) in Downtown State College: Beaver Avenue Lot, Foster Avenue Lot, Fraser Street Garage, Fraser Street Lot, Pugh Street Garage, and the McAlister Deck.

Metered on-street parking is free after 6 p.m. Metered lots are free after 6 p.m. on Thursdays. Garage parking validation is available from participating merchants.

Low-cost-on-street parking ensures turnover and the availability of parking close to your favorite stores. Longer-term parking is available in the garages at the same low rate of 50 cents per hour.
