REGULAR HOURS:

Monday: Closed

Tuesday through Thursday: 5pm-9pm

Fridays and Saturdays: 12noon-10pm

Sunday: 5pm-9pm

RESERVATION POLICIES:

Reservations can be made for tables in our dining rooms. Please note that our bar areas, the Adams Apple and Upstairs at the Tavern, are walk in spaces only and we do not take reservations for these spaces.

Parties of 6 or more will incur a 20% gratuity and will be presented with one check. Please do not make multiple reservations for one large party.

SPECIAL REQUEST POLICIES:

We do our very best to accommodate special requests, however due to the high volume of reservations we experience daily and the limited amount of window tables, we cannot guarantee a specific table request. We do recognize that many tables have nostalgic value to our guests, with that in mind, we ask our patrons to understand that we strive to proactively manage a high demand for general dining and must seat each table to its optimal capacity.

OUTDOOR SEATING:

Seasonally, we have two outdoor seating options for our guests, however, we do not take reservations for those spaces as our Pennsylvania weather is so unpredictable. All of our outdoor dining is walk in only.

PSU FOOTBALL SEASON 2024:

We do not take reservations Home Football Fridays and Saturdays. Due to the high demand for downtown dining, we will be on a walk in basis only.

GRADUATION WINTER 2024:

For winter 2024 Graduation reservations, we will begin taking graduation reservations by phone starting August 13th, 2024 between the hours of 12pm and 5pm. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate parties over 8 guests. Please do not make multiple reservations for one large party. 

GRADUATION SPRING 2025:

For spring 2025 Graduation reservations, we will begin taking graduation reservations by phone starting March 5th, 2025 between the hours of 12pm and 5pm. Please note that we do not take graduation reservations by email. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate parties over 8 guests. Please do not make multiple reservations for one large party. 

PARTIES OF 6 OR MORE:

At The Tavern, we love helping guests celebrate life’s special moments. We have several options for accommodating large gatherings that fit the needs of any occasion. To make a reservation for a group of more than 4 guests, please email our GM, Jamie Ryan, at jamie@thetavern.com. Please include your full name, cell phone number, the number of guests in your party, date and time requested. It’s important to note that reservations are not confirmed until you have received a call and made specific arrangements with Jamie. We look forward to serving you!
